Humbertalking has set our priorities, this month we are to:
1. Reduce Theft
2. Preventing Residential Burglary
3. Improve Road Safety

Here’s a summary of crimes that have been reported across Mid Holderness last month:

a. Residential Burglary reports: (four investigations)
10/05/2024 Burglary Lime Tree Lane, BILTON Property entered, number of power tools, drone, horse saddles stolen from out-building.
16/05/2024 Burglary Galfrid Road, BILTON Damage caused to rear patio door- lock and handle. No entry made, nothing taken.
16/05/2024 Burglary Beech Avenue, BILTON victim disturbs two males in the garden, a tool was used to try and push the key out of the rear door to gain entry, nothing taken.
24/05/2024 Burglary Ganstead Lane, GANSTEAD Offender(s) approach insecure side door of property and remove car keys from inside before making off in the victim's white 61plate Ford Focus

c. Thefts: (three investigations)
08/05/2024 Theft Beverley Road WHITEDALE Theft of pedal cycle from campervan
25/05/2024 Theft A165, LONG RISTON Make off without payment of fuel
28/05/2024 Theft Hedon Road BURSTWICK Pallet of wheels stolen from commercial compound.

d. Vehicle Crime: (three investigations)
05/05/2024 Theft of motorcycle St Albans Close, WITHERNWICK black Triumph Tiger motorcycle stolen from Cul-de-sac
26/05/2024 Theft from motor vehicle Hedon Road, BURSTWICK theft of four alloy wheels from Ford Focus
30/05/2025 Theft Sproatley Road, FLINTON theft of a red 2008 HONDA Foreman TRX Quad bike from farmyard.

e. Damage: (one investigation)
19/05/2024 Criminal Damage Main Street, WAWNE a stone/object thrown at rear upper bus window causing it to shatter.

f. Other: (23 investigations)
05/05/2024 Drugs supply Main Street, LELLEY four males import drugs via offshore, 499 kilos onto a beach
18/05/2024 Dangerous Dog Back Lane, BURTON PIDSEA bite to lower arm
21 domestic related incidents, of assault, harassment, and stalking offences reported in May across the Mid Holderness ward area.
