- Reduce ASB, Criminal damage and Arson
Here’s a summary of crimes that have been reported across Mid Holderness last month:
- Residential Burglary reports: (two investigations)
12/08/2024 Burglary Crab Tree Lane, OLD ELLERBY - Electric Mountain bike stolen from garage.
12/08/2024 Burglary West Newton Road, WEST NEWTON - Bicycle stolen from a detached garage.
- Business Burglary reports: (two investigations)
12/08/2024 Burglary business Hornsea Road, ALDBROUGH - persons use bins to climb into rear yard of premises, force rear door open causing damage, nothing stolen
26/08/2024 Burglary - Business Oubrough Lane ELLERBY - Property entered and TV taken.
- Thefts: (four investigations)
05/08/2024 Theft A165 LONG RISTON - Make off without payment for fuel
06/08/2024 Theft Main Road, BILTON – shop Theft of coffee, sandwiches, and a torch.
14/08/2024 attempt Theft Long Lane, OLD ELLERBY – person seen on CCTV to open parcel postal box.
19/08/2024 Theft Leven Road, CATWICK – shop theft.
- Vehicle Crime: (one investigation)
12/08/2024 Theft Aldbrough Road, EAST NEWTON - tractor stolen from Farm, tracker activated and is located in a scrap yard in Scunthorpe, police attend seize the vehicle and arrest suspect.
- Damage: (four investigations)
01/08/2024 Damage Rolston Road, GOXHILL item thrown at windows causing them to smash. 06/08/2024 Criminal Damage Rise Lane, CATWICK – cat found with wound caused by pellet. 11/08/2024 Criminal Damage Oubrough Lane, ELLERBY - Damage caused to outer pane of window, presumably by an air rifle pellet.
31/08/2024 Damage – Ferry Lane WAWNE – damage to farm gate.
- Other: (two investigations)
23/08/2024 Dangerous dogs Ganstead Lane GANSTEAD - In charge of dangerous dogs. 18/08/2024 Drug possession B1238, Main Road, BILTON - Drugs possession - Cannabis, male drug swiped and failed test.
Domestic Violence – 18 incidents reported.
12 other reports including Public order, harassment, fraud, neighbour disputes and Malicious communication reported in July across the Mid Holderness ward area.
