📹 £1,000 SECURED FOR OUR NEW CCTV SYSTEM! ❤️

More good news for Long Riston Playing Fields!

We are delighted to confirm that Routh Wind Farm Small Grants has awarded us £1,000 towards our new CCTV system.

We recently announced a £2,500 fundraising target for CCTV, and this award means we have already secured 40% of the funding required.

With our £65,000 replacement MUGA now fully funded, our priority is to have the new CCTV system in place ahead of the MUGA installation, helping us protect this significant new investment from day one.

Following recent incidents of damage at the Playing Fields, we believe improved CCTV is an important step in protecting our facilities and supporting the safeguarding of children and young people using the site.

We have other funding applications and discussions underway and hope to have more good news to share soon.

This latest award also takes the total funding secured by Long Riston Playing Fields Committee to an incredible £256,000+ since 2020, supporting the continued improvement and protection of facilities for our community.
